Shermco Industries, a leading provider of rotating apparatus and electrical power system testing, commissioning, repair, maintenance and training, has received a bronze Training Partner Award for 2009/10 from the National Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee for the Electrical Industry.
Awards are based on the amount of direct participation with the NJATC over the prior twelve months. This includes areas such as: curriculum development and enhancement, technical support, webinar presentations, train-the-trainer classes, NJATC staff assistance in specialized training presentations, committee, trade show and NJATC Summit participation.
“We are honored to receive this award. We are always looking for ways to advance the electrical industry and electrical safety through involvement, clear standards and better training,” said Ron Widup, Shermco executive vice president.
