Hatboro, PA, United States, 12/02/2009 – Schwob’s career in telecommunication and electrical businesses spans many years with companies like Marconi, formally RELTEC, and Burndy Corporation. Schwob, while at Marconi, was responsible for the overall sales and field efforts supporting the company’s $1.4B Network Components and Services business in North America. Schwob held various positions with Burndy Corporation including Vice President of Marketing and Sales, as well as Vice President‐General Manager. Schwob, as Vice President‐General Manager for the Power and OSP business units at RELTEC, had responsibility for the organization’s overall strategic direction. Additionally, he had responsibility for the Mexican operations and the development of RELTEC’s Power and OSP businesses in mainland China, with headquarters in Beijing and Shanghai.
Schwob holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Drake University and is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Graduate School of Business. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions, RELTEC Beijing and RELTEC Shanghai, as well as other esteemed companies. Schwob served as an Advisory Board Member for the International Engineering Consortium.
