Adaptik Corporation announces the release of PolicyWriter 6.2, their modern policy administration solution for P&C insurance carriers. This version of PolicyWriter includes expanded support for the JBoss Enterprise Application Platform which enables companies to embrace open source technologies. With this expansion PolicyWriter users are able to take advantage of the most robust, scalable and flexible P&C policy administration solution on the market.
Version 6.2 provides expanded out-of-sequence processing enabling P&C carriers to automatically handle complex policy lifecycle changes.
Though many products claim this functionality, they fall short in delivering the true automation offered by PolicyWriter.
Version 6.2 also provides a new User Interface which embraces web 2.0 concepts in both look and functionality.
Adaptik’s product strategy for PolicyWriter has always included the adoption of new technology platforms as they are rationalized for the insurance technology market. Version 6.2 extends PolicyWriter’s advanced out-of-sequence capabilities by providing P&C carriers with options to manage their out-of-sequence processing. Carriers can now choose to automatically handle out-of-sequence endorsements or adjust the endorsements before finalizing them as dictated by their specific business and operations needs. This expansion gives carriers more flexibility, control and automation around a process that has been handled manually for decades.
PolicyWriter is currently in production with leading insurers and supports all commercial and personal lines policy processing. It is a flexible rules- and tools-based solution which allows users to rapidly configure almost every aspect of the system, including product offerings, user interface, application navigation and even integration with other systems. With the added features of PolicyWriter 6.2, Adaptik now offers even more stability and control to P&C insurers seeking a modern policy administration solution.
