California-based plastic packaging manufacturer, Lindamar Industries, recently announced receipt of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Certification 9001:2008 for the manufacture and distribution of high quality plastic packaging, a major investment and process that took over one year to accomplish.
Lindamar’s resolve in earning the internationally recognized certification demonstrates a commitment to providing quality, FDA-approved, American-made polyethylene bags for vendors and consumers of agricultural, bakery, meat, medical, and industrial products. While overseas imports have been known to use unregulated and contaminated packaging, Lindamar can guarantee that the appropriate documentation and processes are in place at every stage of their production, from the purchase of raw packaging input materials, through to the end product.
Lindamar’s President, Anthony Hall, took the reins of the more than twenty-year-old corporation in 2007, and has since worked to upgrade its systems and expand into larger markets.
