With nearly a dozen business and industry awards collected this year, ConnectWise is clearly setting the pace for professional service automation (PSA) standards. Today the company announced it was chosen as ‘Best Channel Product’ by readers of Business Solutions Magazine. Solution providers rated ConnectWise best among its peers for its richness of features and functionality, product reliability, ease of integration/upgrade and serviceability.
In addition to this distinction, ConnectWise this month was chosen by solution providers as ‘Best Product’ in the software category during the 2009 CompTIA Breakaway event, and was the only PSA publisher to rank on this year’s Inc. 5000, a listing of the nation’s fastest-growing privately held companies, placing 1548th. Businesses were chosen to this prestigious listing based on their percentage revenue growth from 2005 through 2008.
Members of the company’s leadership team were also recognized this month for their achievements. ConnectWise Chief Technology Officer Linda Brotherton and Director of ConnectWise Community Jeannine Edwards were recognized as two of the ‘Most Powerful Women of the Channel’ by CRN. The magazine describes those appointed to this annual listing as leaders who wield significant influence and produce “channel-changing achievements.”

Best ‘Channel’ Vendor – Presented annually by Business Solutions Magazine, this award distinguishes those technology manufacturers and publishers who show superior support for IT solution providers across such categories as service/tech support, channel friendliness, channel programs, product features, product reliability, product innovation and solution provider margin opportunities. Vendors are selected to this listing based on scores submitted by and averaged from more than 18,000 solution providers across the United States.
Channel Chief – ConnectWise CEO Arnie Bellini was named a 2009 Channel Chief by Everything Channel’s CRN magazine. Top Channel Chiefs are chosen based on criteria including policy and program innovations made during the past year, the amount of revenue their company generates through partners, their willingness to speak out publicly on behalf of the channel, and the number of years they have dedicated to channel activities.
Gulf Coast 500 – ConnectWise placed 277th in this 2009 listing of the Tampa Bay area’s largest companies. Compiled by the editors at the Gulf Coast Business Review, a weekly newspaper focused on the Tampa Bay area business community, the Gulf Coast 500 ranks companies by their 2008 gross revenues. Information is collected from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., Hoover’s Inc. as well as interviews and surveys with the ranking companies.
Fast 50 – In this year’s ranking of the Tampa Bay area’s fastest growing companies, ConnectWise ranked 18th. The list, published by Tampa Bay Business Journal, was dominated by technology companies who “beat the odds and showed strong results in downward times.”
MSPmentor 250 – ConnectWise CEO Arnie Bellini was named to this 2009 listing of the industry’s top CEOs, CIOs, CTOs, entrepreneurs, marketing experts, PR pros, association leaders and other leaders shaping the global managed services ecosystem.
Best Places to Work – Published annually by the Tampa Bay Business Journal, this listing recognizes those companies who create a positive work environment that both attracts and retains employees. ConnectWise employees participated in an extensive survey process which covered job-related issues ranging from work-life balance and recognition to teamwork and accountability. Finalists were ranked by size into four categories: Nearly Big (1-25 employees); Big (26-50); Bigger (51-100); and Biggest (101 or more). ConnectWise placed in the "Bigger" category.
Tampa Bay 100 – The Tampa Bay 100 recognizes 100 influential business leaders who positively impact the area's economic development and community. ConnectWise CEO Arnie Bellini was selected from a listing of the Tampa Bay area’s top business, government, non-profit, civic and higher education leaders.
