Zeus Technology, the only software-based application traffic management company, today announced it is a strategic partner chosen by Rackspace® Hosting, the world’s leader in hosting, to join the Rackspace Cloud tool-sharing site, Cloud Tools. The Zeus software will enable Rackspace to extend the capability of its on-demand service offering to over 43,000 Cloud customers.
Customers of The Rackspace Cloud can purchase the Zeus Traffic Manager software on a flexible, pay-as-you-go licensing model. The solution Zeus built for Rackspace utilizes the unique TrafficScript™ facility, an intuitive traffic scripting language. Through the application programming interface (API), TrafficScript will enable Rackspace Cloud users to create their own business rules to automatically control the provisioning of resources on-demand, to ensure they provide their end-users a superior online experience.
