Kingman, AZ, United States, 2009/08/12 - White Eagle Gold, Inc. is very pleased to announce the purchase of 24 mining claims totaling 480 acres in the Wallapai Mining District, Mohave County, Arizona.
On these 24 mining claims are several targets including the White Eagle Vein, Unit Vein, Ryson Vein, Rico Vein and the C. O. D Vein all converging on our properties.
These target veins have been surveyed by Geologist and develop to some amount by previous miners over the last 100 years or longer producing gold, silver, copper, molybdenum, lead and zinc. White Eagle Gold properties are directly adjacent to the Mercator mine open pit that has been expanding for many years.
Open assay reports of proven, probable and inferred ore tailing left from previous miners in the neighboring claims indicate the potential of as yet undiscovered large deposits of gold, silver, valuable metals and rare earth minerals. The Company intends to implement a drill program to verify ores.
Open testing results from ore tailing left by ALS Chemex are as follows:
Gold (Au) .55 g/t, Silver (Ag) 85 g/t, Copper (Cu) 0.07%, Lead (Pb) 0.28%, Zinc (Zn) 0.65%
