Tampa, FL, United States, 08/11/2009 – SGIS, has relocated to a larger office space in Tampa, Florida to accommodate its rapid growth. The new office is located at 400 North Tampa Street, Suite 2840, Tampa, Florida, 33602.
“SGIS has grown, and continues to grow at a rapid pace,” said SGIS Managing Partner Jason Lipton. “This move puts us in an ideal location and affords us the opportunity to grow our clientele base. We are excited for what the future holds, not only for us, but for our customers as well as we continue to provide state-of-the-art capabilities and services.”
The new location enables SGIS to provide ongoing services and better support to current customers and contracts in the Tampa area, such as work in support of the Intelligence Information, Command and Control Equipment and Enhancements (ICE2) program for the United States Air Force. This new office space will also help develop relationships with new customers within Tampa and surrounding areas as the company continues to grow.
SGIS CEO Hany Girgis founded the company from his garage in June 2002. He knew the company would compete with large, well-established competitors and identified the opportunity to compete as a small business. Due to the tremendous efforts of Girgis and his team, SGIS graduated from the small business revenue size standard earlier this year – a significant milestone in the company’s history. This transitioned SGIS from a small start-up to a multi-million dollar company poised to compete with other medium and large-sized defense contractors.
