Musselburgh, East Lothian, United Kingdom, 2006/05/11 - International business support specialist HFI-VI work with Dutch oil and gas companies to identify opportunites at Abu Dhabi international petroleum exhibition.
International business support specialist, HFI-Ventures International, is to provide a wide range of support services to the Association of Dutch Oil and Gas Suppliers (IRO) during their visit to the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition (ADIPEC) in November.
Formed in 1971, the IRO has more than 300 members and aims to further the interests of the Dutch supply and service companies in the upstream oil and gas industry.
IRO delegates attending ADIPEC 2006 will receive briefings from HFI-VI consultants on the Abu Dhabi oil and gas market and on doing business in the UAE.
Aberdeen and Dubai based HFI-VI will also be facilitating group visits to key players in the Abu Dhabi oil and gas industry, organising meetings with potential local partners and hosting a networking reception for more than 200 people.
Work has already started with initial company profile reviews of the 12 IRO companies taking part to ascertain their business objectives for the UAE and to understand their products and services.
HFI-VI consultants will hold a seminar presentation for more than 50 IRO representatives at Van Mens en Wisselink law office in Amsterdam on 23 May to outline the opportunities that will be available at ADIPEC 2006.
HFI-VI managing partner, Hugh Fraser, said: “We are delighted to be working for the first time with IRO which represents more than 300 Dutch companies engaged in the full spectrum of supply activities to the oil and gas industry.
“ADIPEC 2006 will provide an excellent platform for Dutch companies looking to introduce their skills and products in to the UAE and neighbouring regions.
“We aim to maximise those opportunities by providing IRO delegates with up-to-date and relevant information on the Abu Dhabi oil and gas market and to introduce them to potential local partners.
“Our HFI-VI business consultants will provide advice on doing business in the UAE while colleagues from our sister law firm will cover the main legal issues related to market entry, joint ventures, company structure and tax planning.
“HFI-VI has a successful track record in introducing North Sea based companies to the lucrative oil and gas sectors of the Middle East and North Africa and we look forward to working closely with IRO’s members to achieve similar success.”
