Leesburg, VA, United States, 04/17/2009 - Precision Tune Auto Care (PTAC) announced their facility in Gaithersburg, Maryland is now an authorized service center for the Guardian Interlock Breath Alcohol Ignition Interlock devices.

Guardian Interlock Systems is the leading manufacturer of quality Breath Alcohol Ignition Interlock devices. Precision Tune Auto Care established its relationship with Guardian Interlock Systems in February 2009 and today, there are Precision Tune Auto Care centers located in Maryland, Texas, California, Washington and Arkansas, which are authorized service centers for the Guardian Interlock systems.
While there are plans in place to expand the program within the Precision Tune Auto Care system, those plans are dependent on whether the local and state legislation supports the program. The Precision Tune Auto Care located in the Montgomery Village area of Gaithersburg, Maryland underwent several days of training and an inspection by the State of Maryland to obtain its certification. “Becoming an authorized service center for the Guardian Interlock System affords Precision Tune Auto Care an opportunity to help in the fight against drunk driving in addition to adding an additional service and new customers for our Gaithersburg location,” said Robert Falconi, President and Chief Executive Officer of Precision Auto Care, Inc.
The Guardian Interlock Device (guardianinterlock.com) was developed to control and monitor vehicles driven by convicted DUI offeders.
