Federman Steifman LLP announced today that Andrew Lampert has joined the firm as a real estate and structured finance partner. Mr. Lampert will be opening and will be resident in the firm’s Chicago office.
Mr. Lampert has significant experience in a broad range of real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasing. Mr. Lampert advises domestic and foreign financial institutions, REITs, developers, and institutional real estate owners and operators in complex real estate and real estate finance transactions, such as construction, permanent, bridge, and mezzanine financings, joint ventures, and preferred equity investments for large office buildings, residential facilities, luxury hotels, condominiums, shopping center developments and mixed-use projects. Mr. Lampert also advises both borrowers and lenders in connection with restructurings and workouts of distressed assets.

Mr. Lampert holds a B.A., cum laude, from Tufts University and earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from The George Washington University Law School, where he was elected to The Order of the Coif and served as an articles editor on the The George Washington Law Review.
