Raleigh, NC, United States, 03/19/2009 – Business Champions is an annual awards program that honors Triangle-area companies for providing comprehensive workplace education and development efforts to employees.

• Professional credentials. Because TriSure values industry credentials, TriSure pays for expenses employees incur when they pursue one. TriSure pays bonuses when employees reach milestone points in those pursuits, and a salary increase once credentials have been obtained. Also, TriSure employees who extend policies must have industry certification. Many of TriSure’s competitors require only that employees be licensed by the state of North Carolina.
• In-house training. For an entire month after a new sales employee starts at TriSure, he or she attends training from 6 to 7 am. TriSure has found it ensures the undivided attention of seasoned employees and offers insight into a new employee’s commitment. “Someone who willingly attends training at 6 am. every day for a month is someone willing to do whatever it takes to help a client,” Dawson said.
