Foothill Ranch, CA, United States, 03/11/2009 - Jennifer Coleman, a new Global Analytical Market Manager for Bal Seal Engineering, Inc., signaled the official opening of her company’s exhibit at this week’s Pittcon 2009 event by recording a live video report from the show floor.

Coleman, who joined Bal Seal in mid-February, heralded the company’s presence in booth #3932 at the 60th Annual Pittsburgh Conference by recording a 3-minute digital video at Chicago’s McCormick Place on the opening day of the event. The video features Coleman delivering up-to-the-minute information about the show, and it also highlights Bal Seal’s custom-engineered sealing, connecting, conducting and shielding solutions for analytical and laboratory equipment. It can be viewed on YouTube or in the Video on Demand (“VOD”) section of the Bal Seal Website.
According to Coleman, her Pittcon video report is part of Bal Seal’s ongoing effort to connect with prospective customers in “new and engaging ways.”
“We find that videos like this one work really well for us,” Coleman says, “because they’re a fast, easy way to demonstrate how our products work. But more importantly, they allow us to communicate the fact that we’re not just problem-solvers – we’re innovation partners.”
To illustrate her point, Coleman cites a dynamic animation sequence featured in her show report. The sequence follows a fluid sample through an automated sample preparation unit, an ultra-high-pressure liquid chromatography pump and a mass spectrometer, which incorporate solutions resulting from Bal Seal’s early-stage collaboration with OEMs.
A marketing professional with over 10 years of experience in the medical industry, Coleman joined Bal Seal on February 20th, 2009. In her new role, she will work directly with major manufacturers of analytical and lab equipment to devise solutions that improve equipment performance and advance technology.
