London, United Kingdom, 01/15/2009 – GIS market leader launches series of free seminars to demonstrate the value of GIS.
Aylesbury: ESRI (UK), the market leader in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), has announced dates for its ‘ArcGIS is Evolving… 9.3 Roadshows’. This series of free seminars is open to anyone interested in understanding more about the latest trends in GIS and gaining a deeper insight into the range of tools and strategies available to visualise, understand, interpret and share geographic data.
Building on the success of its 2008 roadshows, which were attended by over 500 people from 14 industry sectors, ESRI (UK) is hosting the 2009 roadshows in London, Edinburgh and Manchester during March 2009. These seminars will offer attendees:
• an understanding of best practice for geographic data management, planning & analysis;
• demonstrations of how to make better digital maps;
• GIS via Web-based mash-ups;
• distribution strategies for geospatial information;
• demonstrations, tips and hints for using ESRI’s ArcGIS 9.3;
• access to GIS experts.
