Beverly, MA, United States, 01/13/2009 – Meridian Associates, Inc., (MAI) a leading provider of Laser Scanning, Survey, Engineering and Renewable Energy Services is pleased to announce the newest expansion in their regional representation.
Greg Lawes, Principal and Vice President of Laser Scanning Services, announced today that Wayne Piccin has joined MAI to serve as Marketing Manager of Professional and LSS Services throughout the Midwest. Mr. Piccin will be responsible for maintaining relationships with MERIDIAN’S midwest clients, as well as seeking new business opportunities and growth sectors. He will be based in the Chicago, IL area.
Said Mr. Lawes, “With the addition of Wayne to our Laser Scanning team, we are in a position to quickly respond to our clients needs. Wayne’s background and knowledge of the 3D and Laser Scanning markets as well as his years with CAD and modeling companies will be an asset to us and to our clients.”
Mr. Piccin has over 20 years experience in business development and sales, most notably with CAD and engineering support companies, and is widely known and respected as an industry expert. Before joining Meridian, Wayne had been with a number of companies, including, Trimble Navigation LLC, Bentley Systems, and Instep Software. Commenting on his new position, Wayne said, “I look forward to the opportunity to work with the professionals at Meridian. MAI’s reputation has been built on accuracy and responsiveness. My goal is to continue to provide both to our current and future clients.”
