Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, United Kingdom, 01/07/2009 – Netsweeper Inc., a global provider of Internet content filtering solutions, will be exhibiting at this year’s BETT Show, being held at the Olympia in London from January 14 – 17, 2009. This year, Netsweeper can be found at booth Q42 located in the Grand Hall - Gallery, adjacent to the Local Authority Lounge. Netsweeper’s team of representatives will be on hand to demonstrate its flagship product suite and speak with Local Authorities and school leaders on the features and benefits of Netsweeper’s content filtering applications.
“We are really excited about being at BETT again this year. Historically, BETT has exposed Netsweeper to the primary decision makers of Local Authorities, county councils and schools in Europe. With our name now well-known and with Netsweeper having approximately one-third of the entire education market in the United Kingdom, we have been eagerly awaiting the start of this event,” said Matthew Holt, Regional Sales Manager for Netsweeper in Europe.
Matthew further comments, “Our goal this year is to speak with and educate the Local Authorities and school leaders on the advantages that Netsweeper’s filtering solutions can offer. Delegated and web-based administration tools, multiple access levels and real-time identification of anonymous proxies are key features provided by Netsweeper that large educational networks and schools continue to require. Secondly, our mobile filtering solution for laptops and other roaming devices used for 1:1 computing and eLearning initiatives will soon support Mac and Linux operating systems in addition to Windows as currently offered.”
At this time, Netsweeper is also excited to leverage an earlier announcement of its selection to the Intel-powered Classmate PC Ecosystem Vendor Alliance. This program was designed to bring together local and regional companies focused on education that will join forces to help children learn through technology.
