Clearwater, FL, United States, 2008/12/23 - PODS Enterprises today announced that Wabash National’s DuraPlate® Products Group has signed a multi-year agreement to build and service all of PODS’ traditional portable storage container requirements [NYSE: WNC].
The production agreement with Wabash National will allow PODS to continue their tremendous growth, while ensuring that the PODS® containers are unsurpassed in the industry.
One of the largest and most recognized brands in the storage and moving industry, PODS has over 137,000 containers in use today.

The new PODS® containers have a steel frame construction with completely recyclable panels made of steel skins and a high-density polyethylene core and are available in three sizes: approximately 8-by-8-by-7 feet, 8-by-8-by-12 feet and 8-by-8-by-16 feet. Delivery to the field is expected as early as January 2009.
