Beaverton, OR, United States, 12/10/2008 – Engineered for ease of use in industrial environments, the Mobile Print Station 150 is a small notebook computer featuring an active matrix TFT LCD display panel, auxiliary keyboard, touchpad, battery pack, and a user-friendly interface. It also boasts a tough, shock-resistant constructional design.
Weighing less than two lbs., the MPS 150 is intended to facilitate quicker label-making design. It is easy to carry and can be placed, along with a DuraLabel printer, closer to the areas and equipment where labels and signs need to be applied. The introduction of the MPS 150 means connecting a DuraLabel printer to a conventional desktop or laptop computer is no longer necessary to produce labels.
“What you get with the Mobile Print Station 150 is a reliable product that more conveniently meets your label-making needs. For the work you do, you don’t need a lot of horsepower. But it’s nice to have a smaller machine with the specifications and features you need to optimize your label-making jobs,” said Bob Martell, product engineering manager at Graphic Products.
The MPS 150 has a 7” diagonal screen size and viewable resolution of 800 x 480, and a scrolling screen allows an effective resolution of 800 x 600. The display screen provides excellent viewing free of flickering and radiation, which minimizes eye strain, said Martell.
Battery life is approximately 2.8 hours, and as much as 500 ft. of label supply can be printed with a fully charged battery.
