Atlanta, GA, United States, 2008/11/03 - Astadia, the SaaS Consulting leader, announces and showcases two new solutions at the salesforce.com Dreamforce annual user conference: Marketing Desktop and AppFactor Recruiting. Both solutions are built natively on the Force.com platform.
Astadia, Inc., the leader in SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) consulting and one of salesforce.com’s largest system integrators, will showcase Marketing Desktop and AppFactor Recruiting. Built natively on the Force.com platform, Marketing Desktop and AppFactor Recruiting join the Astadia line-up of SaaS solutions.
The announcement was made today at Dreamforce ’08, salesforce.com’s user and developer conference.
Marketing Desktop is a Marketing Resource Management (MRM) tool that enhances marketing effectiveness. As a native Force.com application, Marketing Desktop builds upon existing Salesforce CRM campaign functionality and serves as a central enterprise information repository that offers seamless upgrades, data integrity/security and access to data from anywhere (including mobile devices).
AppFactor Recruiting decreases recruiting costs by helping companies easily deploy a database-driven approach to posting jobs on their corporate websites and automating the retrieval of applications and resumes. This native Force.com application deploys in minutes and is customizable in less than a day by individual customers, without the need for external professional services. AppFactor Recruiting takes advantage of a number of the newest Force.com technologies, including the new Force.com Sites capability announced today by salesforce.com.
“The AppExchange continues to gain momentum as more and more of our partners contribute valuable applications built on Force.com that extend the power of Salesforce CRM,” said Clarence So, chief marketing officer at salesforce.com. “These new additions from Astadia are great examples. Marketing Desktop and AppFactor Recruiting will help Salesforce CRM users gain greater efficiency and effectiveness in their marketing and human resource organizations.”
During Dreamforce, Astadia and Google representatives will be presenting “Increasing Up-Time Offline with Gears” (Monday from 3:30-4:30pm in room North 124). Astadia will also present “How to Build a 100% Native Force Platform App” on Wednesday, which features Astadia’s experience building the Dreamforce 2008 conference management application that all Dreamforce participants utilized to register, receive printed name badges and schedule meetings.
More information regarding demonstrations and training sessions offered by Astadia, activities occurring at its three booth presences (including a Nonprofit booth), and Astadia’s give-away of $30K in professional services are available on the Astadia website.
In addition to Astadia’s Dreamforce activities, Astadia was also the proud sponsor of the Salesforce.com Foundation Rebuilding Together initiative held on November 1st where more than 200 volunteers from Astadia, salesforce.com and the Bay-area community came together for a revitalization and beautification initiative for the Daniel Webster Elementary School of Potrero Hill. The school serves a marginalized population with nearly 100 percent of the students coming from low income families.
