New training programmes will deliver increased business performance.
Fluke Networks, specialists in network and application performance monitoring and management, today announced the launch of the Fluke Networks Academy. Paralleling the company’s expansion into server to socket network and application performance management, the training academy supports the full range of the company’s system performance products. It delivers flexible training designed to enable IT professionals to maximise the return on investment in network infrastructure and management tools.
The courses focus on effective use of Fluke Network’s performance management products; covering NetFlow Tracker administration, troubleshooting and network analysis and Ethernet with EtherScope. Further courses already in development will include technology fundamentals focused classes covering areas such as analyzing IT networks, application performance analysis and IPv6. The breadth of courses available ensures that appropriate training is available to ensure IT teams can develop the skills necessary to maximise network and application serviceability. During 2009 the Academy will offer a certification program to demonstrate that an individual’s skills have met the necessary standards.
Academy training course are conducted within flexible learning environments and can be tailored to customer requirements, ensuring direct relevancy to the customer’s IT environment. The suite of training options offers everything from custom on-site training and instructor led courses to self guided on-line courses and webinars, each created to match the varying needs, work models and experience levels of user across EMEA. Course availability is being maximised through the development of Fluke Networks’ training partnerships throughout Europe.
The Fluke Networks Academy is run by a team headed up by Neil Cornell, recently appointed Manager of Training and Professional Services, EMEA for Fluke Networks. Neil brings to the Fluke Networks training academy over 19 years training experience, of which 12 were spent with Network General (now NetScout) building their training program across the EMEA region.
“Especially in the current economic climate it is important that network and application performance problems are identified and resolved quickly, as time is money. The Fluke Networks Academy provides an in-depth education on Fluke products and the technology environment, bridging the gap between what a customer understands about the tools and what they can actually deliver, thus allowing a maximum return on product investment.” Says Neil. “Organisations are facing significant challenges due to the growing pressures on corporate networks. The Academy will not only bridge the gaps of understanding but also provide people with the necessary skills to identify the causes and solutions for the problems they face.”
