Vukomanovic, a native of Bosnia who relocated to St. Louis to pursue his goal of business success, has expanded his commercial cleaning company with the purchase of an additional new franchise from Stratus Building Solutions called the Stratus Sani-Proof Hygienic Cleaning System.
The Stratus Sani-Proof Hygienic Cleaning System is the first offering of Stratus Affiliated Services, LLC, a division of Stratus Building Solutions launched this year to expand and complement the company’s successful service franchise programs across the U.S.
Known as “Shon” to friends and customers, Vukomanovic is a busy entrepreneur who chose to expand his business portfolio by acquiring and implementing the Stratus Sani-Proof system to address customer concerns about infectious diseases caused by bacteria. These include e-coli, Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA) and other dangerous bacteria sometimes found in restaurants, offices, public restrooms, schools, health clubs, daycare centers, dormitories, locker rooms and hospitals.
Vukomanovic, who grew up in Sarajevo, Bosnia before moving to St. Louis, is the first unit franchisee to acquire and implement the Stratus Sani-Proof Hygienic Cleaning System. He initially established his successful commercial cleaning firm at 8115 South Park Court in south St. Louis in 2004 as a unit franchisee of Stratus Building Solutions, a national franchisor of diverse commercial cleaning and maintenance services. Since then, he has built a thriving business by serving building owners and managers in the city’s south side region.
A well-known member of St. Louis’ Bosnian community, Vukomanovic said he always looks for new ways to better serve his customers. “MRSA has received health warnings because it can transfer serious infections sometimes carried by people who have been hospitalized or been in contact with other persons carrying such bacteria,” Vukomanovic said. “Dangerous strains of e-coli are sometimes found in food such as beef and vegetables and can be transferred, for example, by contact with kitchen countertops or in unsanitary restrooms.”

The Stratus Sani-Proof hygienic system uses special equipment and disinfectants which are Green Seal Certified and approved by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to kill MRSA and other transferable bacteria.
