Olching, Bavaria, Germany, 2008/09/01 - The new IXI-Call Version 3.0 from serVonic is available now: The third party CTI-solution IXI-Call 3.0 comes up with “Active Contacts“ technology, Microsoft Outlook calendar integration and flexible presence management.
Within a fully new designed interface, IXI-Call offers the user an improved contact-, journal- and task-management and group features.
The “Active Contacts“ technology in IXI-Call 3.0 centers the call partner, this means the contact. The IXI-Call Server links all the contacts it has at its disposal with information and actions of different services like telephony-, calendar- and personal presence-management that extensively inform about the availability of a contact. The suitable redirection scenario can be enabled by setting a presence status. For the devices of others, e.g. in boss/PA scenarios, calls can be picked up and redirections can be set, controlled and deleted, provided that the necessary permissions are given. Active Contacts and multifunctional buttons can be summarized logically to any group in two hierarchy levels. In the status monitor, the users can see the availability of their active contacts at a glance. You see who has called, who is in a phone conversation, who is busy and who does not want to be disturbed.
In IXI-Call 3.0, every user is free to group the contact and buttons just as he likes. A contact can be assigned to multiple groups, entire groups can be addressed. That way, several participants can be informed at a time, for example. Received and sent messages are listed by means of a message history. The instant messaging feature was enhanced by a moderated chat-feature for several participants with storing possibility. The users manage calls in absence and missed call partners with extensive configurable journals and tasks.
The new version of IXI-Call is a real-time collaboration application focused on communication with third party CTI-integration for companies, which want to improve their business processes in communication-intense fields. The client-server solution for Microsoft Windows and Office environment consists of efficient modules that allow a deep integration into the available IT-infrastructure on several levels and that are compatible with important future technologies. IXI-Call Server 3.0 centrally controls the lines of the CTI-capable devices. It serves for the administration of the users, management of the permissions and offers security by authentication. Here, central log data and journals are kept and the integration of the data bases is realized. Different services can be integrated via a development kit. For the communication with other clients and servers, particular drivers (Remote TAPI Service Provider) are provided. IXI-Call Clients 3.0 are available in two variants: as client with Outlook integration and as “neutral” variant.

IXI-Call 3.0 is available now at serVonic and sales partners. The price depends on the number of users. For example, the IXI-Call 3.0 license for 10 users costs 781 Euro (plus legal VAT, if applicable).
