Raleigh, NC, United States, 08/25/2008 – The intent of the PSP designation is to recognize specialists who meet a demanding set of planning and scheduling criteria through a rigorous examination and qualifying process. It is accredited by the Council of Engineering and Scientific Specialty Boards and International Cost Engineering Council.
With 25 years of experience as a construction professional, Dougherty has extensive knowledge in the field of mechanical contracting, including HVAC, fire protection and plumbing work. In his capacity at Buric, Dougherty works directly with contractors, owners and construction managers to develop, maintain and analyze CPM schedules, which includes incorporating contractual requirements, determining the sequence of work, managing labor and equipment resources and project cash flow, and integrating shop drawing submittals and material deliveries. At Buric, he has overseen multiple prime contractors on separate multi-million dollar projects.
Dougherty holds a bachelor’s of science degree in building construction and contracting from Purdue University. He is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers and the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering International.
Dougherty works in Buric’s flagship office in Chagrin Falls, located just outside Cleveland. Buric has other branch offices in Somerville, N.J., and Wilmington, N.C.
