Sierra Village, CA, United States, 06/09/2008 – The product family includes the low cost OTOT-EM55X model and high performance OTOT-EM55XL model, which allow CATV network operators to configure the system to meet any application requirement. The XL, high performance model, is available with DWDM capability that can be tuned to ±1 ITU DWDM channel (±100GHz) via front panel controls. The XL model offer bandwidth up to 1GHz with exceptional stability over a wide ambient temperature range (0°C to +50°C). All models feature two usable outputs, doubling the number of usable outputs of most commercially available External Modulation Transmitters. The XL model includes adjustable SBS suppression from +13dBm to +19dBm. When used with Olson’s model OT-DCM family of dispersion compensation modules and the Olson OTEA-CO series or the OTEA-CL series EDFA’s, users can readily deploy a SuperTrunk CATV transport system over distances exceeding 200km.
