Microsoft has already listed TimeControl as a timesheet solution for use with Microsoft Project and Project Server and this announcement extends HMS Software’s partnership with Microsoft.
“We’re very excited about this new announcement,” said Chris Vandersluis, President of HMS Software. “SharePoint is one of the fastest growing product groups at Microsoft and is being adopted by many organizations both large and small. TimeControl is already well known around the world as an enterprise level timesheet and we believe that making TimeControl available from within the SharePoint interface will make it even easier for organizations to deploy.”
Microsoft has announced that over 100 Million licenses of SharePoint are already deployed and many products are endorsing the environment. TimeControl is one of the first timesheet systems that is available now for deployment within SharePoint.
"While this announcement is new, we already have had extensive experience with TimeControl used within SharePoint,” says Stephen Eyton-Jones, Director of Technical Services at HMS. “We have designed TimeControl 5 to work within Microsoft Project Server’s Project Web Access Interface which is already within SharePoint. Our new integrator can now install TimeControl directly into a SharePoint worksite where it becomes immediately accessible to anyone who has been granted access.”
HMS Software is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner with an Information Worker Competency and has had a relationship integrating TimeControl with Microsoft Products since 1995. Only a small fraction of Microsoft's hundreds of thousands of partners are ever elevated to Gold Certified status.
“We know that one of the biggest challenges in a timesheet system is its acceptance by the end users,” says Vandersluis. “For those organizations which have deployed or are deploying SharePoint, this new installation capability of TimeControl will ensure an uninterrupted user experience.”
The TimeControl SharePoint Integrator is currently free for organizations purchasing TimeControl and is included with each TimeControl system.
