Cupertino, CA, United States, 2008/05/28 - Pacific Business Centers (PBC), the fast growing provider of on-demand office space, announced today it is acquiring a substantial minority interest in American Executive Centers’ (AEC) locations in Cupertino and Sunnyvale, California.
American Executive Centers (AEC), the provider of full-time and part-time offices is merging its operation with Pacific Business Centers (PBC). As part of the deal, PBC is acquiring a substantial minority interest in American Executive Centers’ two locations in Cupertino and Sunnyvale, California.
Laurent Dhollande, PBC’s CEO said, “What AEC has accomplished in Cupertino is exceptional. It is a Silicon Valley landmark, and some day may deserve as much recognition as the HP garage in Palo Alto. We are thrilled to integrate such a jewel in our Bay Area portfolio”.
Over the last 23 years, AEC has incubated scores of successful start-ups in its flagship Cupertino location located by providing them with an affordable office infrastructure with at-will expansion and contraction capabilities. Services include on-demand offices, conference rooms, reception services, copier room, and administrative staff.
On-demand offices can be full or part-time. Full-time office clients avoid expensive upfront investment in an office infrastructure and are not tied to rigid lease terms. Part-time clients have access to day-offices and conference rooms on an as-needed basis at a fraction of the price of a full-time office.
“Joining PBC will provide us with the resources and support necessary to upgrade our technology platform, and enhance the value our clients receive, including access to online legal library, accounting services, and state-of-the-art technology,” said Keith Warner, AEC’s CEO.
With 200 business identity clients in Cupertino alone, AEC is known as one of the groundbreaking virtual office providers in the country. That track record of innovation and leadership led OBCAI, the international trade association of Office Business Centers, to ask Jeff Warner, AEC’s Executive Vice President for Marketing, to join its Board of Directors, where he currently serves a second term.
With the integration of AEC’s Cupertino and Sunnyvale centers, PBC now offers 15 locations in Northern California with centers in the East Bay, Peninsula, South Bay, and Sacramento.
