iCrossing has been shortlisted for the “Best Use of Web” award for its paid search campaign with UK tour operator Cosmos. The award will recognise the most imaginative, innovative and successful use of the Internet to build business, in any sector.
The paid search campaign produced a significant increase in revenues and substantially reduced the cost per customer for Cosmos with increased conversions through more relevant page deliveries from search queries. Using iCrossing’s suite of analytical tools, Cosmos was also given in-depth campaign insight that enabled continual performance enhancement of its website.
The NMA Effectiveness Awards, which have been running for 11 years, reward those companies and agencies that have demonstrated that they can translate an understanding of the potential of interactive media into tangible business benefits. They are run by NMA, the UK's only weekly magazine covering the business of interactive media: the internet, wireless internet and interactive TV. The winners will be announced at a ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London on Thursday 26 June, 2008.
