This is the perfect opportunity to discover — and try — new products, and take the time to meet French and British executives/ in the field of speciality foods.

The event organised by the Trade Section of the French Embassy in London will start at 9.30am: a conference will be followed by a lunch-cum-tasting at midday, which will be attended by French producers as well as British buyers in the sector. The very central and prestigious location of the event, which will take place at the Royal Garden Hotel in High Street Kensington (in London), promises to make it even more memorable and enjoyable.

A range of food products will be on display, including delicatessen meats, dried sausages, spreads, cheeses, luxury chocolates, and ice-creams. British food buyers and importers will be coming along to sample these various high-quality products. New products will be presented, and issues such as labelling will be discussed at the event. There will be ample opportunity for networking.

Companies due to attend are listed below; a catalogue with more details on each of the exhibitors is available upon request.

Dupuy Salaisons (in South-Western France) will showcase its dry, cured ham and Bayonne-region ham (or jambon de Bayonne).

Salaisons Pyrénéennes, which is headquartered near the Spanish border, markets jambon de Bayonne, dried cured sausages, and Noir de Bigorre ham.

Fromagerie LINCET has a range of speciality cheese from the regions of Champagne and Burgundy (in Eastern France).

GAEC du Fumé Lorrain / Ferme Haffner offers terrines made in traditional, artisan fashion, together with a range of charcuterie products as well as game products, all inspired by authentic recipes.

Les Terrines du Barrois boasts a wide range of traditional pâtés, rillettes and prepared meat products. The company also offers a range of jams and preserves, all based on typical recipes.

Chocolaterie J GUYAUX SA makes and sells high-quality chocolates, while Crenn Import Export specialises in dairy products and pastas.

Entremont has been a manufacturer of hard cheese for 60 years and enjoys proven expertise in the traditional maturing process of cheeses. Comté is one of their famous cheeses.

Comtesse du Barry offers gourmet specialities that include foie gras, gourmet hampers, and chocolates, among others. For its part, Octave makes luxury ice-creams and gourmet sorbets.
