Source Consulting, Inc., a Sage Software-authorized provider of business management software and CRM solutions, has announced the successful integration of their custom-developed Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) software solution with Sage Accpac WMS for Fortessa, Inc. Fortessa designs, develops and markets industry-leading tabletop goods and accessories.
According to Scott Hamberger, CEO of Fortessa, “As part of a strategic initiative to become more competitive and project our business in the global marketplace, we decided to establish a Foreign Trade Zone. However we first wanted to make sure we had the proper inventory control and business management systems in place to handle the complexities of administering a FTZ.”
Scott turned to Source Consulting to determine how their existing Sage Pro ERP and Sage Accpac WMS could be modified to comply with the strict FTZ data management, reporting, and inventory tracking requirements regulated by US Customs. Source Consulting developed a complete FTZ software solution, integrated with Sage Accpac WMS, that provides the level of inventory detail and operational transparency that Fortessa required.
