Mobilis Healthcare Group, has appointed Ambergreen to help deliver their “genuine expertise in sport and healthcare” proposition online and to increase sales via the soon to be launched professional and consumer websites by almost 500% within the next 10 months.
Established in 1978 Mobilis sells over 15,000 products to professional sport, healthcare, medical and consumer markets. The group employs over 120 people across its manufacturing, wholesale and retail divisions. Mobilis is part of a wide group of companies owned by Sussex Research, a £60m investment company.
Endorsed by leading athletes, including cricket legend Matthew Hoggard and rugby union star Lewis Moody, Mobilis sells to some of the country’s top professional and amateur sports men and women. In addition to sports and healthcare Mobilis also operates in the fields of specialist and general medical.
To date Mobilis’s business strategy has been to grow by acquisition. Now, it is also looking to the internet where there is enormous potential for natural growth, to maintain its rapid growth rate.
Ross Matthews, Mobilis’s Web Business Unit Manager explains: “Our products are used by most premier league football clubs, rugby union and league clubs; as well as private physiotherapists, podiatrists, NHS and other allied health professionals. We have a very high brand awareness offline. We are now looking to replicate that online.”
