This coordination will be managed from Paris in collaboration with the European headquarters of GE Energy at Belfort.
Hopscotch is also in charge of the PR programme for France, and works closely with partner agencies in other markets, including its subsidiary Hopscotch Europe In One for the United Kingdom.
“The decision to collaborate with a network of independent agencies fits with our strategy, namely to be as close as possible to the markets where we operate”, said Frank Farnel, Director of Communications and Public Affairs at GE Energy Europe (EMEA). “With more than 1,800 employees, Belfort is both the European headquarters of GE Energy and the sole French producer and worldwide centre of excellence for our high and medium capacity gas turbines. We wish to communicate about the diversity of opportunities GE Energy offers, by being as close as possible to our customers and to our potential employees. Choosing Hopscotch also enables us to consider innovative communications platforms.”
The European programme awarded to Hopscotch, Hopscotch Europe In One and the agency European partners includes promoting GE Energy’s local presence, communicating about the group’s portfolio of energy technologies, publicizing its professional expertise and highlighting career opportunities within the company.
