Hingham, MA, United States, 01/17/2008 – Northeast Health System announced the appointment of Susan H. Samperi as Senior Vice President of Philanthropy for Northeast Health System and President of the Northeast Health Foundation, effective January 7, 2008. Ms. Samperi is a seasoned fundraising executive with more than 20 years of experience in the field, including 13 years at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Ms. Samperi joins Northeast Health System from Shore Country Day School in Beverly, where she has served for 7 years as the chief advancement officer. In this role Ms. Samperi was charged with overseeing a comprehensive philanthropy and public relations program.
At Shore, Ms. Samperi developed strong ties with the North Shore’s philanthropic community and helped raise millions for operating and capital needs. Likewise, at Dana-Farber, she was instrumental in cultivating relationships with individuals and family foundations that resulted in major gifts.
Originally from Rhode Island, Ms. Samperi holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Providence College.
