The partnership marks the first strategic collaboration between a cable company and a mobile marketing company.

The first included a TV spot with an embedded overlay message for viewers to text in the keyword “Vocelli”. Viewers who responded received a mobile text coupon for 50% off a regular large pizza (regular price is $15.99, but with the Cox/Ping Mobile coupon, it’s $7.99). In the first month of the TV/mobile campaign, Vocelli saw a one-half percent response rate and a 56% coupon redemption rate.
“The instant turn around of the coupons by text messaging was a great new avenue of advertising,” said Dave McDonald, Vocelli Franchisee Owner. “Customers were able to receive their coupon right away to redeem and it brought more residential customers to my business which was my ultimate goal.”
