Long Floor, a leading distributor of prefinished and unfinished hardwood flooring, equipment, and sundry products, has announced that sales representatives Bill Robbins and Danny Yarbrough have completed the National Wood Flooring Association’s Intermediate Installation and Sand & Finish School. The educational seminar was held on November 7-9 in Charlotte, NC.
NWFA’s three-day school is designed to provide the practicing professional with hands-on training for installation, sanding, and finishing of many different kinds of flooring products. Day one covered installation, day two discussed sand and finish, and day three concluded with finish. Chesapeake General Manager, Tim Yarbrough, said that this type of specialized training will ultimately benefit Long Floor customers.
“The NWFA is known for their quality educational programs, and the Sand & Finish school is no exception,” says Yarbrough. “Having Bill and Danny attend this school and take advantage of hands-on training is invaluable and will certainly build on their technical knowledge. This kind of experience truly adds to the value we offer our customers and the expert technical support that customers have come to expect from Long Floor.”

About the National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA)
Nearly two decades ago, several leading wood flooring businessmen met to discuss the need for a professional wood flooring trade association. Their mission was to create an organization that would help advance and promote the wood flooring industry, while bringing valuable resources and information to its members. In 1986, their dream became a reality with the launch of the National Wood Flooring Association. Today, the NWFA boasts over 3,500 members throughout the world, spanning all ages and all skill levels.
