Amman, Jordan, 2007/12/06 - Microsoft recently launched its Security and Reliability Customer Campaign that will conclude on December 28th, 2007 with the purpose of helping Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs) in Jordan grow and expand their operations by enhancing and protecting.
This Customer Campaign by Microsoft will be channeled through its partners to address the challenges that SMB customers face such as downtime, losing customer information, viruses and spyware, and many similar issues that force IT departments to switch to a firefighting mode of operation, rather than adding value to the business, enabling them to be more productive without worrying about the availability of their IT infrastructure or the protection of their business information.
Within the Campaign, there are two important scenarios that Microsoft is focusing on that include keeping the IT infrastructure of the business up and running, which aims at reducing downtime by being up-to-date, and making sure data is protected and backed up properly, making customers more aware of their risk appetite and potential security threats and ensuring that they take the right precautions.
Odeh Mahmoud, Small and Medium Business Sector Manager of Microsoft Jordan said: "As small and medium businesses aspire to grow and expand their operations, security and reliability become increasingly important catalysts and are therefore receiving increased attention from both business and IT leaders and professionals. The purpose of this campaign is to help small and medium businesses in Jordan optimize and protect their IT environments—the asset on which their business is running."
The Microsoft products that are positioned in this campaign include Windows Vista Enterprise, Windows Server 2008, Exchange Server 2007, System Essentials and Forefront.
