Real Time Freight Services, LLC today announced its membership in the American Frozen Food Institute (AFFI). AFFI is a national trade association that represents all aspects of the supply chain within the frozen goods industry. From manufacturers and growers to wholesalers and suppliers to packagers, receivers and grocers, AFFI is the industry’s voice on critical issues.
“AFFI is pleased to welcome Real Time Freight Services, LLC into membership. When suppliers for good and services join AFFI, they demonstrate a commitment to advancing the frozen food industry,” said Leslie G. Sarasin, CAE, AFFI’s president and chief executive officer.
In today’s fast-paced environment, the supply chain’s lifeline is transportation. Companies are quickly learning that transportation logistics, which has never been a simple process to navigate, is only growing more complicated. At Real Time Freight Services (RTFS), it is our goal to streamline this process so that we may continue to assist and service members of AFFI. “We are hoping we can help any AFFI member that is dealing with outside carriers,” said Chad Saffro, RTFS’s VP of Operations. “Finding refrigerated trucks to move their product and continuing to satisfy customer needs is vital to the success of these companies. We are here to help with that process and give our customers the competitive edge they are looking for.” RTFS will continue to provide the technological platform through which these companies can efficiently find refrigerated carriers, as well as streamline both internal and external communication.
