Ft. Lauderdale, FL, United States, 12/09/2005 – Beneteau recently honored The Catamaran Group as the best World Lagoon Dealer distributor at the Paris Boat Show, reconfirming its international status as the #1 source of quality catamarans in both Europe and North America.
Lagoon continues to remain the world’s largest retailer of catamarans and The Catamaran Group maintains its stamina and proves itself in the international catamaran market accounting for around 15 % of worldwide sales.
The Catamaran Group dominates the catamaran market place with sales since inception climbing well over $100 million.
Over the last six years the company has continued to increase its sales by nearly 300% and is now selling around 125 catamarans per year. In the last 12 months alone the company has increased sales by another 25% for 2005 with sales revenues currently exceeding $35 million.
2005 was once again a record year for the company as it also ties up the Lagoon Dealer of the Year award in the United States in addition to its World dealer award.
