Skymol Corporation, a leading provider of on-demand (hosted) solutions for managing online customer interactions using real-time voice and video, and text chat communications, today announced that InforMed, the leading Hungarian medical portal and virtual clinic, has selected Skymol Communicator including live voice, video and text chat communications capabilities to offer live medical counseling to its patients.

InforMed was the first Hungarian medical and health website that was called Pro Patiente from 1995 to 2002 and since 2002 this has been one of the most visited medical portals in Hungary with approximately 10,000 unique visitors every day (according to the Median webaudit). InforMed has more than 30,000 registered users and sends 3 newsletters a week to them. 50% of the registered users are doctors or savvy, educated medical employees.

Skymol Communicator as live business chat and live help solution is a more interactive communication tool than email or the traditonal text chat, InforMed turned to Skymol to help them apply their unique approach to a personalized and interactive environment to online surgery hours.

InforMed provides live online surgery hours to patients and website visitors through the Doctor Answers program. In the virtual clinic currently 8-10 doctors answer the questions and give advice in 12 areas of specialty in real time using voice and video, and text chat communications.
