Palo Alto, CA, United States, 2007/10/05 - OSS/BSS global competitive strategies group announces new research, expanded Team.
Stratecast, a division of Frost & Sullivan, recently found North American communications operators are beginning to embrace predictive data analytics for new market opportunities and streamlining operations—a widespread practice in other retailing sectors. The study, Predictive Analytics Powers Communications Service Provider Marketing Strategies, shows there is no single set of “analytics best practices”, and no dominant analytics vendor in telecom today, leaving the door wide open for market growth.
To enhance the scope of expertise in this emerging market, Stratecast appointed Susan McNeice as Senior Research Analyst in its OSS/BSS Global Competitive Strategies practice (OSSCS). McNeice has written extensively on subjects such as the competitive and strategic uses of data analytics, business intelligence, revenue assurance, operator profitability and project management. She has more than 25 years experience in strategic planning, operations, competitive marketing, program management and turnaround, and software development for the communications industry.
“We are so pleased to have Susan join the Stratecast team,” says Joe Fristensky, Global VP of Frost & Sullivan’s Information & Communications Technology (ICT) practice. “As the communications, media and entertainment worlds converge, her extensive background will be an important ingredient to help clients achieve success.”
In her role at Stratecast, McNeice will be involved with the competitive and OSS/BSS needs of the communications industry through consultation to both vendors and service providers. She will address emerging OSS/BSS global research needs for both syndicated and custom project requirements.
