St Albans, Herts, United Kingdom, 2007/09/25 - Centric Health Resources – a leading US specialty pharmacy provider to individuals with rare, long-term disorders – is deploying the Cobent Learning Compliance Suite (LCS) for staff training to improve the quality of the service it provides.
Although not regulated by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration), Centric Health Resources will utilise the rigorous compliance capability of Cobent's Learning Compliance Suite (LCS) to ensure that the organisation meets all FDA standards for services to patients.
Doug Carlson, quality manager for Centric Health Resources, said: “We think the Cobent LCS will help us improve our patient-centered health management approach to our business. If our staff are trained to be the best and we continually monitor and measure their capabilities, then we can deliver an even better service to those patients.”
Centric Health Resources will use LCS to develop courses unique to the organisation’s services and to manage the type and level of training its staff receives. LCS will also enable Centric Health Resources to audit individual and corporate training so the organisation can demonstrate the high quality levels of its operation and service.
Utilised initially by Centric’s 68 internal staff members, there are also plans to make the system available to Centric Health Resources’ patients and partners, such as nurses and suppliers, helping ensure that they can deliver high quality services and treatments for patients.
Howard Sears, Cobent’s CEO, said: “Organisations like Centric Health Resources - which are a lifeline to many people - need to be able to prove that they have delivered training and information in the appropriate manner to the right people at the right time so that they can increase reputation and quality of service. The Cobent LCS is backed by over 10 years experience in understanding compliance requirements and it is the ideal solution for developing and deploying training in regulated industries.”
The Cobent Learning Compliance suite (LCS) is a powerful set of modules designed to make enterprise wide learning easier to manage and control.
LCS is browser-based application that provides fully functional learning, content and training management, offering organisations the necessary tools to quickly and cost-effectively create, distribute and track training activities online and offline. LCS consists of advanced tools that have been built in line with global compliance standards and in consultation with training managers, compliance managers and other business professionals who deliver and manage training daily.
