PRZOOM - /newswire/ - Atlanta, GA, United States, 09/11/2007 - Scott Payne, former McCar Homes Charlotte Division Vice President, has been named President of Sales at Marketing at McCar Homes.

Since joining McCar Homes in 1997, Payne has served the company as a builder, onsite sales agent, sales manager and division vice president. Payne will officially take over the helm to lead the sales and marketing initiatives of McCar Homes in January 2008. Tom Ware, who has been President of Sales and Marketing for nearly 11 years, will be retiring at the end of this year.

Prior to joining McCar Homes, Payne served as a builder with Ryland Homes and Payne Properties. Payne is a member of the National Association of Home Builders and the National Sales and Marketing Council, from which he has been recognized with the Platinum Sales Manager Award. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in real estate.
