Hingham, MA, United States, 08/24/2007 – Phillips DiPisa, PhillipsDiPisa.com, a retained executive search firm serving healthcare providers, managed care organizations, and life sciences firms, today announced that it has completed an executive search assignment for Bristol Hospital.
Bristol Hospital, based in Bristol, Connecticut, appointed Michael Orr, CPA, to the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Phillips DiPisa led the search on behalf of Bristol Hospital.
Bristol Hospital is the predominant provider of healthcare services to the 60,000 residents of Bristol, Connecticut and surrounding communities. With 1,300 employees and a 250-member medical staff, the Hospital provides a full range of inpatient services. They include medical/surgical, critical care and obstetrics, as well as emergency and ambulatory services.
Mr. Orr is a healthcare finance executive who brings extensive experience within community hospital, teaching hospital, consulting and payor environments. Formerly, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Merrimack Valley Hospital in Haverhill, Massachusetts. Prior, he was Assistant Vice President of First Chesapeake Group, Inc., a healthcare consulting firm in Annapolis, Maryland.
