Paris, France, 07/12/2007 – Leesa Fogarty, who has Executive Qualifications in Risk Management from the Australian Graduate School of Management, stated that having multiple manufacturers plugged into the MaraJoara global supply chain ensured cost competitiveness and promptness in delivery to their customers.

"Whilst the manufacturing quality and materials in Brazil is of a high standard, Fogarty said, "cultural challenges and the ‘Brazil factor’ (corruption, lack of transparency and the black economy) had not filled MaraJoara management with confidence with European expansion on the horizon. One major production strategy to improve cost efficiencies and reliability was to source multiple manufacturing facilities in eastern Europe, Tunisia and Morocco where labour costs are low, unemployment is high and working conditions for the people are reasonable.
