The Jacksonville Beach, Florida-based company recently forged new partnerships with The Palm Beach Post and The Miami Herald to publish the first-ever editions of The Greater Palm Beach Education Guide and The South Florida Education Guide, respectively. Both Guides will help parents relocating to these areas, determine their children’s’ educational choices.
The Greater Palm Beach Education Guide will provide comprehensive information about public and private school choices in Martin, Palm Beach and St. Lucie counties, while the South Florida Education Guide will provide similar information for Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe counties.
Both will include lists of private schools and the diverse programs they offer in each county, listings of public libraries, post-secondary schools, and colleges and universities. Both Guides will be published in October.
America’s Education Guides already has similar agreements in place with The Orlando Sentinel to publish the Central Florida Education Guide and The Tampa Tribune to publish The Greater Tampa Education Guide.
“These new partnerships will allow our company to expand in areas of Florida where families are desiring of more information and resources about K-20 education in their communities,” said Mike Clements, president and publisher of America’s Education Guides. “We see our partnerships with the Palm Beach Post and Miami Herald as win-win situations because the ad staffs at both of these outstanding newspapers will coordinate advertising sales, allowing our own personnel to concentrate solely on conducting the research, writing the stories and producing the Guides without placing any additional work on their editorial staffs.”
“The Greater Palm Beach Education Guide will provide our readers an unrivaled resource that they can use to make informed decisions about public and private school education,” said Robb Olsen Palm Beach Post Vice President of Advertising. “They’ll be able to take a comprehensive look at each of local public school including such indicators as dropout rates, graduation rates and school district annual budgets.”
