Mountain View, CA, United States, 2007/05/31 - Wilson Fuel Company Limited has selected SumTotal® Systems, Inc., a global provider of talent and learning management solutions, to deliver regulatory training to a rapidly growing, geographically dispersed network of Wilson employees. NASDAQ: SUMT
Truro, Nova Scotia-based Wilson Fuel Company Limited has selected SumTotal® Systems, Inc., a global provider of talent and learning management solutions, to deliver regulatory training to a rapidly growing, geographically dispersed network of Wilson Fuel employees. Wilsons is Atlantic Canada’s largest independent gas retailer as well as a provider of fuel for home heating. The company’s operations span Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador and Prince Edward Island.
Along with quickly and efficiently delivering online learning, Wilsons wanted a system to accurately track the outcome of employee education in order to report results to regulators. Wilsons discovered that SumTotal offered a solution, which the software maker could host for Wilsons. According to Wilsons executives, the company felt SumTotal’s “ResultsOnDemand” product would provide the Canada-based firm with a “rapid implementation,” which wouldn’t tax Wilsons’ existing IT resources.
“We believe ResultsOnDemand will give Wilsons as well as employers of all sizes a platform with the best features in the market,” said Jon Ciampi, vice president of marketing for SumTotal. “ResultsOnDemand also offers our customers hassle-free upgrades, support and maintenance.”
