Tripp Lite, a world-leading manufacturer of power protection and connectivity solutions, announced today that its 3-Phase Rack Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) was recognized by the judges of the annual Cabling Installation & Maintenance Innovators Awards program.
Tripp Lite was honored with a silver-level award. The judging panel for the awards included cabling and communications system specifiers, designers, integrators and managers with vast professional experience.
This new 3-Phase Rack ATS with patented technology from Tripp Lite combines the speed of solid-state switching with the efficiency of an electromechanical relay switch. The result saves installers and operators thousands of dollars per rack over alternative in-rack power strategies. The unique hybrid design of the switch also reduces rack congestion, lowers total rack weight, simplifies network management and reduces environmental impact.
“Tripp Lite is extremely honored to receive this award from Cabling Installation & Maintenance,” said Dave Slotten, Tripp Lite’s Vice President of Product Marketing. “Our 3-Phase Rack ATS is a very simple solution that operates at very high reliability and the benefits are substantial. It’s durable, easy to install and proven in the field.”
Alan Bergstein, publisher of Cabling Installation & Maintenance (cablinginstall.com), said,“This prestigious program allows Cabling Installation & Maintenance to celebrate and recognize the most innovative products and services in the structured cabling industry. Our 2016 honorees are an outstanding example of companies who are making an impact in the industry.”
