• Steve Biondi will head newly created position as vice president, Global Partner Organization;
• Will oversee all relationships with Avaya channel partners, distributors and SI/SPs;
• Expects to grow partner ecosystem to reach more customers with cloud, hybrid and premises-based business communications solutions that increase customer and team engagement.
Steve Biondi has assumed a newly created position as vice president, Global Partner Organization.
Biondi will be responsible for enhancing the Avaya partner engagement model and driving growth through strategic relationships with a variety of partners. Under Biondi’s leadership, Avaya expects to expand the overall partner ecosystem into new regions to enable more companies to implement business communications that improve customer experiences, team and employee productivity and network performance.
Biondi will be aided with leadership from a team of highly experienced individuals, including: Joe Lohmeier, who recently assumed the role of vice president Worldwide Core Channels; Dino Marasco as vice president Worldwide Service Providers/System Integrator Channels and Nurali Jamani as vice president for Worldwide Distribution. He will report to Pierre-Paul Allard, senior vice president, Worldwide Sales and president of Global Field Operations.
Biondi comes to Avaya with more than 25 years of experience in sales, channels, marketing and operations. Most recently, he held the position of senior vice president and Global Group Executive ISV and OEM Sales at Oracle. Prior to Oracle, he held senior leadership positions at Micro Focus, Inc., Allen Systems Group, VMware, and IBM. He is currently an active Advisory Board Member for private equity firm Lumia Capital.
