ITS’s network for ATM maintenance involves a complicated web of interconnected systems. Terminals report their status, incidents are raised and dispatched, field staff provide ETAs and report the parts used via smart phones, customers are advised of outcomes, vehicles report their location via GPS, and orders are placed as stock is used. ITS did not want the major time and labor expense of rewriting existing systems in order to combine all of this data, what was desired instead was a centralized dashboarding and reporting tool which could integrate data from three separate terminal control/monitoring systems, a field staff management system, a time-keeping system, a part repair/supply/tracking system, an ITL incident management system, data feeds from external customer databases, web portals, GPS tracking system, and a half dozen other systems that perform minor functions. ITS also wanted their BI solution to offer web accessible reports with data security, and a shallow learning curve that would allow non-technical users to build and tailor their dashboards.
When ITS evaluated many BI tools along 20 different criteria, Style Intelligence was the only solution that exceeded all of their requirements.
