Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, 2015/02/26 - New Flyer Industries, Inc. announced that Nassau Inter-County Express operated by Transdev Services in the State of New York, awarded New Flyer a contract for up to 110 heavy-duty 40-foot Xcelsior® compressed natural gas (“CNG”) powered buses. TSX: NFI.DB.U
New Flyer Industries, Inc. (“New Flyer” or the “Company”), the leading manufacturer of heavy-duty transit buses in the United States and Canada, announced today that Nassau Inter-County Express (“NICE”) operated by Transdev Services in the State of New York, awarded New Flyer a contract for up to 110 heavy-duty 40-foot Xcelsior® compressed natural gas (“CNG”) powered buses.
The contract for 110 XN40 buses contains a firm order for 52 buses with options for an additional 58 buses and is valued at approximately $53 million dollars.
