Dialogic, Inc., the Network Fuel® company, announced today that TMC, a global, integrated media company, has recognized Dialogic with a 2014 Best Conferencing Award at WebRTC Conference & Expo V held in San Jose.
This Best Conferencing Award, presented by TMC, honors vendors that have embraced and advanced technologies involving WebRTC to provide service excellence, distinguishing their success as innovators, thought leaders, and market movers in the WebRTC conferencing space.
“Congratulations to Dialogic Inc. for being granted a 2014 Best Conferencing Award. Dialogic has been selected for demonstrating innovation, quality and unique features which have had a positive impact on the customer experience," said Dave Rodriguez, president of TMC. "We're pleased to recognize this achievement, as Dialogic has proven its commitment to quality and the further development of the WebRTC communications industry."
“We are pleased to be recognized by TMC,” said Jim Machi, senior vice president of marketing and product management at Dialogic. “This award serves as confirmation that Dialogic is a leader in innovation, while meeting the needs of the new real-time, multi-media communications that leverage this powerful technology to efficiently interact with customers.”
“Dialogic’s WebRTC-related engagements are global, and range from enterprises to service providers, small companies to large, demonstrating the broad power and future framework of WebRTC in the market,” Machi added.
Dialogic’s on-stage demo at WebRTC Conference & Expo V included a multi-party video conference load-test using the Dialogic® PowerMedia™ XMS, validating the product’s advanced mixing, recording, transcoding, and interworking capabilities in high-load conferencing environments. Dialogic’s XMS-powered WebRTC solution that was featured in the demo is for developers of conferencing solutions and has, as a key aspect, Dialogic’s multipoint control unit (MCU) functionality.
“Congratulations to the entire team at Dialogic for earning this great honor. I look forward to seeing more innovative solutions from them as they continue to contribute to the future of WebRTC communications,” Rodriguez added.
WebRTC is revolutionizing communications by providing a powerful and large open source community-based technology for embedding communications in web browsers and mobile applications. Dialogic’s PowerMedia™ XMS includes support for WebRTC audio, video, and media plane technologies, and allows developers and network operators to extend their applications and services to the Web. PowerMedia XMS’s web-oriented APIs and virtualized software are well suited for dynamic, cloud-based environments where WebRTC is typically deployed alongside other web services.
WebRTC Conference & Expo encourages collaboration to ultimately change the way we communicate in real-time.
